Programs

The FAST Program starts each Fall with our distance learning program powered by Moodle. Each learning module prepares students for Super Saturday Lab Sessions and the Summer Forensic Science Academy. Laboratory days are designed to provide hands on experiments that align with previous Moodle driven distance learning sessions.

Our summer academy focuses on developing and training students in forensic science to include:

  • Nuclear Forensics

  • Drug Chemistry 

  • DNA Analysis

During the summer academy, the students learned proper lab practices and procedures 

STEMversity also provides professional development to science teachers. Sessions include lecture, theory, and hands on demonstrations. Our full day workshops cover:

  • Fingerprint Analysis

  • Presumptive Testing 

  • Drug Forensic Chemistry

  • Chromatography 

  • Infrared Spectroscopy 

  • Qualitative/Quantitative Analysis
